Enterprise Canada expands Quebec presence with addition of Adrienne Vaupshas

October 13, 2026

Enterprise Canada is pleased to welcome Adrienne Vaupshas as Director, Quebec, Public Affairs & Strategic Initiatives, strengthening the firm’s presence and public affairs expertise in Quebec.

Born and raised in Montreal, Adrienne is a fully bilingual public affairs and communications professional with more than 13 years of experience spanning government, public policy, politics and the private sector.

Adrienne joins Enterprise after serving as Press Secretary to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland, as well as Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller. In these roles, she worked on a broad range of economic, fiscal, social and Indigenous policy files, including many of particular relevance to her home province of Quebec. Her work involved extensive engagement with senior government officials, political stakeholders, industry and both local and international media.

Her political experience includes federal election campaigns, where she managed communications for Marc Miller’s re-election campaign in his Montreal constituency and worked in media relations for the Liberal Party of Canada, with a focus on Quebec issues. This experience provided her with first-hand insight into the political and media landscape in Montreal and across Quebec.

Earlier in her career, Adrienne held marketing roles with L’Oréal Canada and Chanel USA, giving her a strong private-sector perspective to complement her government and political experience.

“Adrienne brings exactly the combination of Quebec knowledge, political experience and communications expertise our clients are looking for,” said Laura D’Angelo, Vice President, National Strategy & Public Affairs. “She understands how decisions are made, how issues move and how organizations can effectively engage in Quebec. We’re thrilled to have her leading our work in the province.”

In her role, Adrienne will advise organizations and senior leaders on government relations, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and policy and regulatory issues in Quebec and across Canada.

Her addition builds on Enterprise Canada’s growing national team and strengthens our ability to provide clients with bilingual, on-the-ground expertise in one of Canada’s most important political and business markets.

Adrienne holds a Master of Public Policy from McGill University.
