Enterprise Canada Welcomes Katie Heelis to Partnership
Toronto, ON — Enterprise Canada today announced that Katie Heelis, who leads the firm’s health practice, has joined its partnership group.
Since launching Enterprise Canada’s health offering in 2020, Katie has played a central role in building EnterpriseHealth into a significant and growing part of the firm. She has built and mentored a strong team across the country, capable of advising a wide range of health-care clients and helping them successfully navigate increasingly more complex stakeholder environments and public affairs issues.
Moreover, she has taken a true leadership role in Enterprise Canada and proven herself as a thought leader and change maker in the health care sector, including founding the Women in Media Fellowship.
Katie joins Barbara Fox, Jason Lietaer and Dennis Matthews in leading the firm’s growth across Canada.
“We welcome Katie to our partnership as one of the next generation of leaders at Enterprise Canada. Katie brings strong judgment, energy and a clear understanding of how this business is evolving. She will be instrumental in continuing our growth as a national strategic communications and public affairs firm.”
Barbara Fox, CEO, Enterprise Canada
“Katie has built a strong and credible health practice at a time when the sector is becoming more complex and more important. This reflects both the growth of that work and our long-term commitment to health care.”
Dennis Matthews, President, Creative Currency
“Katie’s work sits at the intersection of communications, policy and public sentiment, which is increasingly where our clients need us to operate. That applies in health care and other sectors. She understands how to navigate complexity and deliver results.”
Jason Lietaer, President, Enterprise Canada
As a partner, Heelis will continue to lead EnterpriseHealth, which has become a core area of strength for the firm and is widely recognized as a leading health -care practice in Canada. Her appointment reflects Enterprise Canada’s approach to maintaining a focused and actively engaged partnership, while continuing to invest in areas of long-term growth.
“I’m excited to join the partnership as the firm continues to grow and evolve. With one of the strongest teams in Canada, we’re well positioned to build on our momentum and shape what’s next for EnterpriseHealth and the broader company.”
