Enterprise Canada Welcomes Kristina Ennis as Part of Newfoundland and Labrador Expansion

Enterprise Canada, one of Canada’s leading Strategic Communications firms, is proud to further its expansion into Newfoundland and Labrador with the addition of Kristina Ennis as its new Director, Public Affairs (Newfoundland and Labrador).

“I’ve been proud to work and volunteer in our community across multiple roles and I look forward to taking this next step as part of the Enterprise Canada team,” said Ennis.  “We have so much potential right here at home and I can’t wait to help more businesses and community organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador continue to grow.”

Ennis’ appointment marks an important step in Enterprise Canada’s growth across Atlantic Canada as part of the company’s commitment to providing integrated, strategic communications support from coast to coast.  In addition to St. John’s, Enterprise Canada is now active in markets across the country, including Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.

In her new role, Ennis will join fellow Newfoundlander David Tarrant, Enterprise Canada’s Vice President of National Strategic Communications and Atlantic Canada Lead in building out the company’s presence in the Newfoundland and Labrador marketplace as part of the company’s long-term commitment to the Atlantic Region.

“Kristina’s combination of authenticity, commitment, and strong community leadership makes her the ideal kind of person we want to work with,” said Tarrant, “She has a deep understanding of the issues facing our province and of the opportunities that exist in the local marketplace. We’re delighted to have her on her team as we continue serving clients across the province.”

With more than a decade of experience across human resources, industrial benefits, inclusion and diversity and business development, and having worked in key roles at ExxonMobil Canada, WorleyParsons, SEM Ltd., and People Stuff Inc, Ennis brings consulting experience supporting organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador.

Ennis’ work has been recognized with the St. John’s Board of Trade Emerging Young Professional Award, the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow designation, and leadership roles in major community and fundraising initiatives.

Most recently Ennis stood as a candidate for the Newfoundland and Labrador PCs in the 2025 General Election in the District of St. John’s West, during which time she gained a deep understanding of Premier Tony Wakeham’s platform, team, and leadership style.

“Our firm has always been built around meeting our clients where they are,” said Barbara Fox, CEO Enterprise Canda.  “Kristina’s understanding of the local environment, cross-sector experience and blend of political, corporate, and community expertise is the kind of experience our clients across the country rely on.”
