Enterprise Canada Expands Atlantic Operations with Acquisition of Harbourview Public Affairs
Rob Batherson joins as Senior Leader, Atlantic Canada
December 3, 2025 – Halifax, NS – Enterprise Canada is pleased to announce its expansion in Atlantic Canada through the acquisition of Harbourview Public Affairs and the addition of its founder, Rob Batherson, as Vice President, Atlantic Canada, based in Halifax.
A seasoned communications public affairs strategist with decades of experience across government, political, agency, and corporate settings, Rob brings deep relationships, regional insight, and a proven track record of delivering results for clients across sectors. In his new role, he will continue to serve Harbourview Public Affairs clients from within Enterprise Canada, ensuring a seamless transition and an even broader range of services.

Rob founded Harbourview Public Affairs in 2021 after a successful career leading communications and marketing operations across Atlantic Canada. He previously co-owned Colour, a full-service agency with offices in Halifax, Toronto, and New York, and served as Executive Vice President at Trampoline, where Harbourview was originally incubated.
In addition to his professional work, Rob has been a dedicated community leader, serving as Chair of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and Neptune Theatre, and on the boards of Halifax Stanfield International Airport, EduNova, and Mount Saint Vincent University.
He has been recognized with numerous honours, including the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, Honorary Director of Neptune Theatre, and the Chancellor’s Award from Mount Saint Vincent University.
