Matthew Conway is Enterprise Canada’s Québec lead. A bilingual Montréal resident, Matthew offers clients deep policy and strategic communications expertise with  a wide network of relationships across Québec’s political and business communities.  

Matthew brings over a decade of senior political and public service experience, having advised and helped shape Québec and Francophone policy for multiple federal and provincial Ministers. 

Outside of politics, Matthew worked as a consultant in government and media relations, issues management, and stakeholder engagement across a variety of organizations and industries. 

Inside Experience

• Vice-President of the Conservative Party of Canada’s National Council 
• Highly active in Quebec politics and former candidate for Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) 
• Served as Head of Francophone Affairs at Queen’s Park, and as Press Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and Quebec and Official Languages Advisor to the Minister of Canadian Heritage & Official Languages in Ottawa 
• Candidate in the 2011 Federal Election and the 2008 Quebec Election 
• Law degree (2009) – Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) 
• Governor General’s Academic Medal (2005) following his Paralegal Technology program at O’Sullivan College of Montreal
