Richard J. Brennan, an award-winning journalist, reported on politics, including Queen’s Park and Parliament Hill, for most of his 40 plus year career.
The definition of media insider, Brennan brings his experience and his persistent and dogged style to our media training practice, helping our clients take on those tough interviews and answer those tough questions with ease.
Inside Experience
- Former reporter for the Toronto Star, city editor at The Record in Waterloo Region and Windsor Star Queen’s Park Bureau Chief, covering the governments of Bill Davis, David Peterson, Bob Rae, Mike Harris, Ernie Eves, Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne – five of whom attended his retirement party.
- The only journalist who has been president of both the press galleries at the Queen’s Park and Ottawa.
- Served for three years on the Ontario Press Council and was a director for the Ontario Newspaper Awards.
- Graduate of Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology, which in 2016 bestowed upon him the honour of Distinguished Fellow.
