For more than 20 years, Nancy has applied her deep understanding of how Indigenous peoples and governments function to help businesses navigate complex Indigenous consultation and accommodation processes. And thanks to her expertise and experience as president of McLeod Wood Associates, Indigenous peoples and businesses alike have benefited from her business development and community engagement services.

Her training in public participation and her extensive business and policy experience, allows Nancy to deliver tailor-made, workable plans that balance business needs with environmental and cultural respect. In today’s world, these are integral to improving socio-economic conditions for Indigenous peoples communities, and helping business thrive.

• Extensive experience working with Ontario First Nations to build community-owned businesses combined with experience gained in the Ontario public service
• Masters of Business Administration from Laurentian University
• Management Economics degree from the University of Guelph
• Diploma in Mining Technology from Northern College.
