Emily is a key member of our Ottawa Public Affairs team where she supports clients with strategic communications, media relations, and public affairs.

A former journalist with nearly a decade of experience covering Canadian federal politics at the highest levels, including The Globe and Mail’s Parliamentary Bureau and CBC News Network’s Power & Politics with Vassy Kapelos, Emily brings a strong understanding of how issues move through government and how to translate complex policy into clear, effective communications.

During this time, she gained unique experience of covering major political events including the COVID-19 pandemic, federal elections, and national policy developments, enabling her to help clients navigate fast-moving environments and communicate with clarity and impact.

Emily also has expertise in Indigenous and northern issues from her time reporting for CBC North in Iqaluit, and maintains a strong network across Parliament Hill.
