Katie Boothby-Kung joins Enterprise Canada to launch Sustainability Practice

Toronto, ONT. — Enterprise Canada is excited to have Katie Boothby-Kung join our growing national strategic communications team as Director of Sustainability. Katie will be building and launching a dedicated sustainability practice within Enterprise and play a dual role as Lead, Purpose-Driven Marketing at our sister agency Creative Currency.

Katie comes to Enterprise from Shopify where she helped build their social enterprise portfolio, supporting thousands of purpose driven businesses around the world. A veteran of the Prime Minister’s Office, Finance Canada and several federal ministries, Katie has a strong understanding of the players and process that drive government decision-making on a broad range of sustainability and social impact issues.

An entrepreneur at heart, Katie’s experience in sustainability runs deep. As companies seek to meet ambitious climate goals, define the future of regenerative agriculture and do right by their employees and the planet, matching communications strategies with real action can unlock true growth and change. Katie will also be joining the Creative Currency team as Lead, Purpose-Driven Marketing. In this role she will contribute to numerous client projects where social purpose meets consumer focused marketing.
