EnterpriseHealth Further Expands into Western Canada with Critical Hire

Toronto, ON – EnterpriseHealth is thrilled to announce the addition of Safia Mohamed as a Senior Consultant. A seasoned health care consultant, Safia brings expertise in digital health and health system reform as well as a deep understanding of the health landscape in Ontario and British Columbia. 

“We are excited to expand our health team on the ground in Western Canada,” said Katie Heelis, Vice-President and EnterpriseHealth Lead. “With her diverse experience in health care, spanning roles in hospitals, the cancer care system, government, and as a consultant to major health system partners in British Columbia and Ontario, Safia offers an invaluable understanding of the health care system that will greatly benefit our clients.” 

Safia’s career spans key roles in both the public and private health sector. She has worked extensively with health care leaders, including playing a key role in supporting a large academic hospital in developing its foundational five-year strategy. Additionally, she has held significant positions at Cancer Care Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Health, where she managed the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that have made a lasting impact on healthcare delivery.  

Her experience in these roles, combined with her work at a boutique health care consulting firm in Vancouver, B.C, has made her uniquely skilled in bridging gaps between diverse stakeholders, facilitating effective conversations, and building winning strategies that achieve results for health care clients.  

At EnterpriseHealth, Safia will leverage her intimate understanding of health policy and proven strategic planning skills to lead  projects from inception to completion, that drive healthcare reform and achieve results while ensuring that every patient, clinician, community member and partner sees themselves reflected in the strategy. Safia will also play a critical role representing EnterpriseHealth on the ground in Western Canada based out of Vancouver, B.C.
