Enterprise Canada Welcomes Strategic Communications Pro Taylor Deasley
Enterprise Canada proudly welcomes Taylor Deasley to our team as a Senior Consultant, Strategic Communications and Issues Management. Taylor is a seasoned communications professional with a wealth of experience garnered in high-profile political offices and campaigns, making her a valuable addition to our growing team.
“We are delighted to welcome Taylor Deasley to our Strategic Communications team,” said David Sommer, Vice-President, Strategic Communications. “Taylor’s wealth of political campaign experience, collaborations with key institutions, and remarkable track record in navigating complex issues, will truly elevate our capabilities in delivering impactful solutions for our clients.”
Taylor has an extensive background in issues management and media relations, having previously served as the Chief Spokesperson for Bonnie Crombie during her successful campaign for Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, Deputy Director of Communications and Press Secretary for Toronto Mayoral Candidate Ana Bailao, and as Press Secretary and Issues Manager for Toronto Mayor John Tory.
Taylor’s expertise extends beyond political campaigns, having collaborated with hospitals and Toronto Public Health to execute the city’s COVID-19 vaccine outreach strategy. She also played a crucial role in delivering public safety announcements with the Toronto Police Service and developing the communications plan for Toronto’s 2023 Budget and city-wide Housing Action Plan.
In her new role, Taylor will help Enterprise clients make headlines (or stay out of them), navigate communications challenges, and develop messages that land the right way. Enterprise Canada is thrilled to continue growing its dynamic team from coast to coast.
