Enterprise Canada Welcomes George Habchi to Atlantic Team

Halifax, NS – Enterprise Canada Atlantic is thrilled to welcome native Haligonian, George Habchi as Senior Consultant.  

George joins the Atlantic team as a seasoned government relations and public policy expert with experience working with the Conservative Party of Canada, in the office of the Minister of National Defense, and most recently at Ottawa-based Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI), Canada’s premier federal policy think-tank.

In addition to his Federal experience, George’s time at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute allowed him to build lasting connections with leading public and private partners in key sectors including defence, energy, health sciences, manufacturing, technology and Canada-U.S. trade.

George graduated in 2012 from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax with a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and is an active volunteer in his community, including through his long-time service with the Children’s Wish Foundation, Ottawa Mission and Halifax Victim Services.
