Enterprise Canada Adds to National Public Affairs Practice in Ottawa
Enterprise Canada is pleased to announce the addition of Allie Lee and Brooke Malinoski to our growing National Public Affairs practice in Ottawa led by Vice President, National Strategy and Public Affairs, Laura D’Angelo.
Both Allie Lee and Brooke Malinkoski come from Ottawa and are seasoned political and public affairs professionals who understand the process and players that drive decision making in Canada’s capital. They join Kevin Den Heijer and Katie Boothby-Kung as part of the Ottawa team that is supported by Enterprise Canada’s team members across the country.
Enterprise Canada will be announcing a new office location for the practice shortly.
Allie Lee, Director, Public Affairs at Enterprise Canada and Account Manager at Creative Currency
Allie is an Enterprise Canada and Creative Currency two-way player, with a keen understanding of the intersection of public opinion, government decision making, and the communication strategies that help win the day. Her experience in the Liberal Research Bureau and during the 2015 and 2019 federal election campaigns have informed her digital, marketing, and communication perspectives to help shape winning campaigns for clients. In a previous life, Allie worked at an Ottawa based creative agency and joins Creative Currency as an Account Manager.
Brooke Malinoski, Senior Consultant, Public Affairs
Brooke joins Enterprise Canada as a senior consultant with an unparalleled understanding of the Liberal Government. She comes to Enterprise Canada from a senior role in the Prime Minister’s Office where she was at the forefront of some of the biggest decisions facing the country in a generation from the COVID-19 pandemic to the war in Ukraine. Her time on the campaign trail in 2015 as a candidate, and touring the country with the Prime Minister in both 2019 and 2021 have informed her understanding of the politics that drive decision making.
“Perspective is everything in public affairs and Allie and Brooke come with a fresh and deep understanding of what drives government in today’s public affairs landscape,” said Laura D’Angelo. “As we open a new office and expand our team, we couldn’t be more excited to expand our presence in the capital with these two dynamic women”.
The National Public Affairs practice in Ottawa will leverage the talents and capabilities of the whole of Enterprise Canada and Creative Currency to deliver results for clients looking to get in front of decision makers, move public opinion, and win the day.
“Laura is a tremendous leader in our Ottawa office and is building an incredible team of proven, dynamic, and savvy advisors that are going to take Enterprise Canada to the next level in the national capital region,” said Jason Lietaer, President, Enterprise Canada.
