Enterprise Health Practice grows with addition of Carly Ellis

Toronto, ONT. — Enterprise is expanding its health care practice with the addition of Carly Ellis as a Senior Consultant. With six years of health care experience, Carly brings a background in health system transformation and hospital operations, as well as expertise in health policy, communications and government relations to Enterprise’s Health Practice team.

“As we support our clients in navigating the complexities of the health care system and the current environment impacted by COVID-19, Carly’s expertise in health care and the health system will be a true asset”, said Katie Heelis, Health Practice Lead at Enterprise.

Carly has developed a strong knowledge of the health care system through her work at a regional health authority, specifically in the area of mental health and addictions, and at the largest community-based hospital in Ontario. She has worked with senior leaders and teams across the health system to develop and execute a wide range of strategic projects, including designing a new hospital to meet the needs of a diverse community, and supporting the successful application of the first Ontario Health Team.

“We are proud of Enterprise’s success since we launched our Health Practice, supporting many different organizations across the health sector in advocacy, strategic communications and issues management. Our Health Practice will continue to be a high priority, and the addition of Carly Ellis to our team gives us even greater strength,” said Barbara Fox, Chief Executive Officer at Enterprise.

Carly holds a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University’s School of Public Policy and an Honours degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Political Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. She also completed a semester at Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in Paris, France.

When not at work, Carly spends her time being active outdoors and as a volunteer mentor with StepStones, a program for vulnerable youth. She is also a 2020 CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow.
