COVID-19 Update for March 14 2021 – 11:00AM
Premier Doug Ford held a rare Sunday media conference to set the stage for the launch of the provincial vaccine booking portal, which will go live tomorrow morning for Ontarians 80 and older.
Provincial Vaccine Booking System
As of 8:00 a.m. Monday, Ontarians who will turn 80 this year and older will be able to book vaccines online at Ontario.ca/bookvaccine, to get an appointment at one of the province’s newly established mass immunization clinics.
Those unable to book online can call a toll-free number: 1-888-999-6488.
Ford stressed that the portal is only open to those born in 1941 or before. As capacity increases, the eligible age bracket will be expanded.

Touting “steady progress” in Ontario’s vaccination plan, Ford took the opportunity to reiterate calls for increased supply of doses. He said the province has capacity for 4.8 million shots per month, and currently has 1.8 million doses for March.
