Position: Public Affairs Strategist

Location: Toronto, Hamilton or Ottawa

We’re looking for a connected and driven Public Affairs Strategist who understands how to build and maintain government and stakeholder relationships, as well as communications.

In this role, you would be joining a team that specializes in strategic communications planning, issues management, digital campaigns, government advocacy, public relations and media training. Your ability to support the development and implementation of government relations strategies is central to all of this.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working at an agency, or with comparable experience in a government or political role. This position can be located in Toronto, Hamilton or Ottawa.

What You’re Good At

Bringing a thorough understanding of government, politics and the process that drives decision making

Being able to work on multiple issues simultaneous in a fast-paced environment

Preparing top-notch presentations to government, letters to ministers and key officials, briefing notes, speaking points, and other content for clients

Cultivating key contacts in relevant government ministries and with external stakeholder organizations

Monitoring and following government agendas and activities across multiple policy areas as well as in the media

Planning and scheduling meetings, creating workback schedules and managing budgets and reports

Supporting senior members of the team to ensure alignment of core goals and objectives on files

Understanding best practices for communicating to government, influencers and stakeholders in a digital-driven environment, including knowledge of social media and public relations

What You Bring

Agency experience in public affairs or relevant background in government or political office

Education: post-secondary education in a related field

Ability to coordinate and manage budgets

A keen understanding of politics, policy, communications and social media

Self-starter with a strong work ethic

Attention to detail and excellent command of written and verbal communications (French is an asset)

Position: Account Executive, Hub at Enterprise

Location: Toronto, Hamilton or Ottawa

We’re looking for a talented Account Executive to help develop and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients at Hub, our in-house creative services agency at Enterprise. Serving as a direct point of contact for clients and expected to take a leading role on major files, this position would coordinate and support different internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services. If you’re social, detail-oriented and love to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role will be perfect for you.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working at an agency, or with comparable experience developing strategies, leading projects and managing clients. This position can be located in Toronto, Hamilton or Ottawa.

Enterprise hiring Senior Public Relations Consultant

Position: Sr. Public Relations Consultant

Location: Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa

We’re looking for an ambitious, media savvy communications pro to join our public relations team. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with members of the media, influencers and other audiences that help our clients build their brands and manage issues. Every day you’ll be working closely with our in-house creative agency, the Hub at Enterprise, to execute digital and paid strategies that amplify and support our storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience working in-house or at an agency. This position can be located in Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa.

What you’re good at

  • Crafting compelling media pitches to help our clients secure top-tier media placements
  • Development and planning of integrated public relations programs that may include media tours, events, conferences, interviews, influencer and social media strategies
  • Managing sensitive issues and providing strategic counsel during a crisis
  • Understanding digital, creative content, design and video production
  • Contributing to creative brainstorms
  • Analyzing and interpreting research data and providing recommendations and feedback
  • Client communication, including project updates, reports and approvals
  • Preparing measurement and analytics reports
  • Participating in the new business process, including research, audits, idea contribution and proposal preparation

What you bring
