Tasked with positioning and launching the new provincial agency, Enterprise Canada worked with Metrolinx to develop a comprehensive communications framework bringing the agency to launch day.
Our work culminated with the announcement of the “Big Move”, which reached an estimated 12 million households across Canada.
“They were there when I needed them, reacting quickly and professionally in an always-changing environment. They worked hard and they worked smart.”

Result

We’ve helped position Meridian Credit Union, Ontario’s largest credit union, as a viable alternative to the big banks.
From 2009-2010 we have generated over $2 million in earned media for Meridian in every major national news outlet. We have also helped Meridian launch its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative utilizing social media tools.
Retained in 2009, Enterprise Canada helped Canada’s premier landscape and gardening show bloom into a full-fledged media event. In the end, generating almost $1.5 million in PR Value and increasing show attendance 16 per cent.
“Enterprise Canada and its staff exceeded our goal of enhancing media coverage as well as reaching out to a new demographic of attendees. Their staff was professional, energetic and extremely efficient. The results of our 2010 celebration speak for themselves. Attendance increased by over 16 per cent and we saw a dramatic increase in media coverage in the GTA, Ontario and Canadian outlets than in past years. We look forward to working with this fine organization for many years to come.”

The Sheppard East Business Improvement Area (BIA), having watched the chaos surrounding the St. Clair Avenue West LRT construction, retained Enterprise Canada to assist them in ensuring the government heard their concerns.
As a result of our work, many city and TTC officials commended the BIA for its approach and its clear, thoughtful and reasoned positions. In the end, the TTC made significant changes to plans for the project that reflected most of the BIA’s recommendations.
“Enterprise Canada has enabled us to make tremendous progress. Their strategic advice and tactical expertise made a big difference in our approach – helping us to say the right things to the right people in the right way. Thanks to their ongoing efforts, our members have a strong voice as the Sheppard East LRT project moves forward.”
